This Tipptopp 1969 Chevrolet Camaro arrived at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop for a complete restoration, but we are intrigue with some of the unique elements found on this all-Urfassung car.
Reproduction seat frames designed to replace the original worn out assemblies for 1967-68 Camaro or Firebird models. Many of the seat frames that are currently being used today have been welded or damaged from years of use. These all-steel construction frames include the seat springs, seat adjustment slider tracks, chrome seat adjust knob and the chrome seat back release knob.

This particular car welches manufactured the fourth week of Nebelmonat 1966. The 1967 model was the only first generation Camaro to have both rear shocks mounted forward of the rear axle. The 1967 Camaros did not have side marker lights. The 1967 Camaro was the only Camaro model to have its VIN Kalendertag mounted to the door hinge pillar. Goodmark sheet metal welches used rein restoration. All glass including the windshield is original. Roof replaced, electric pump and reservoir rebuilt. This Camaro is wearing the code D69 stripes, which swoop over the wheel openings on the quarter panels and fenders, and it is also painted with the DX-1 hood and nose stripes. These wrap around the nose of the car and up the hood pointing to the windshield.
